The best JOM paper for 2008 was awarded at the 2009 Academy of Management conference in Chicago, IL on August 9.  The authors of the winning paper: "Understanding behavioral sources of process variation following enterprise system deployment," authored by Elliot Bendoly and Mark J. Cotteleer, Vol 26, Issue 1 were awarded plaques and a $2500 prize.  The two honorable mention papers: Vol. 26, No. 6, “Creating consumer durable retailer customer loyalty through order fulfillment service operations,” by Beth Davis-Sramek, John T. Mentzer, Theodore P. Stank,  and Vol. 26, No. 5, “ISO 9000 practices and financial performance: A technology coherence perspective,” by Mary Benner and Francisco Veloso were also awarded plaques and prizes.
